Aave, the decentralized lending protocol, has announced the deployment of its V3 version and its native stablecoin GHO on Monad, a next-generation blockchain, marking a new step in the multi-chain expansion of DeFi.
This integration will allow Monad users to access Aave’s lending and borrowing services, as well as its decentralized stablecoin GHO, backed by a basket of collateral assets. Monad, known for its Ethereum compatibility and high performance, thus becomes a new hub for the Aave ecosystem.
In early July 2026, the cryptocurrency market is stabilizing after a turbulent June. Bitcoin is trading around $61,700, while Ethereum is advancing to $1,712, supported by a bullish momentum of nearly 6% over 24 hours. Solana, one of the year’s blockstars, is showing a remarkable performance of 15.87% over 7 days.
The deployment of Aave V3 on Monad is not insignificant. This version of the protocol introduces advanced features such as asset isolation, optimized interest rates, and improved risk management. GHO, for its part, represents a decentralized alternative to centralized stablecoins like USDC or USDT.
“Each new Aave deployment strengthens the network effects of multi-chain DeFi,” observers comment. “Monad brings a solid technical infrastructure with reduced fees and fast finality — major assets for decentralized lending.”
This expansion comes at a time when decentralized finance is seeking to surpass $100 billion in total value locked (TVL), after having gone through a period of contraction linked to the broad market downturn in June.
For users, the arrival of Aave and GHO on Monad opens up new possibilities for yield farming, borrowing, and leverage, while benefiting from the security of one of the most audited protocols in the ecosystem.
